With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Diane St. Germain “Cricket”, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt on Monday, September 3, 2012. She was born in Prince Albert, SK on August 4, 1959 to Alida and Emery St. Germain, the fifth child of 11 siblings. Diane is survived by her loving family: her daughter Lisa (Claude) Turner; her special friend Lonnie Caplette; her mother Alida St. Germain (nee Parenteau); her sisters Frieda, Sheila and Sharon; her seven brothers Gerald (Gail), Kenny (Barb), Larry (Irene), Randy (Debbie), Dewayne (Charmaine), Ronnie (Robin) and Gary; her four grandchildren Terri-Lyn, Jordan, Kane and Alexis; her four great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Emery St. Germain; her sister Shirley; her brother Dennis; her grandparents as well as numerous aunts and uncles. Diane enjoyed spending time with her dogs, Donut, Peachtree and Plaquette. She especially enjoyed the time spent with her mother and daughter. She loved to shop and collect cow ornaments. Mom was a lady that always had a smile on her face and loved to tease. Everyone who met her was guaranteed of getting a nickname from her. Prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 9 from River Park Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 10 from River Park Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Margaret Ferchuk will officiate. Interment will take place following the lunch at St. Laurent Cemetery. Family and friends may send email condolences to www.riverparkfuneral.ca.
