Dennis James Ray “Mr. Brown” was born on July 29, 1950, in Sandy Bay, SK, and passed away on May 28, 2024, in Sandy Bay, SK, at the age of 73 years.
Dennis is survived by his loving family, his daughter, Tanya Nateweyes; his brothers and sisters, Raymond, Gladys, Philip Sr. (Myrtle), Mary (Philip), Wayne (Bernadette), Diane; his uncles, Leonard Ray Sr., Eli Bear; his auntie, Adele Morin; his special niece, Holly Caribou Nelson; numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Rosie Ray; his grandparents, Bud and Charlotte Ray, Moise and Henrietta Ray; his brothers, Leonard Ray, Kenneth Ray, Howard Ray, Alfred Ray, Martin Ray, Ron Michel; his brothers-in-law, James McDonald, Peter Castel, Philip Castel, Tom Castel; his sisters-in-law, Jane Ray, Veronique Ray, Liz Stewart; his uncles, Arthur Ray, Roderick Bear, Edward Bear, Ernest Ray, Louis Ray, Ovide Bear, Louis Bear, Alphonse Bear, Angus Bear; his aunties, Madeline Ray, Harriet Ray, Adele Ray, Bibian Bear, Mary Ann Morin, Marie Bear, Angelique Ray, Theresa Ray, Kathy McKay.
The Prayer Service for Dennis will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, May 31, 2024, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Margaret Ferchuk officiating. The Wake Services will be held the evening of Friday, May 31, 2024, at the Garry Morin Memorial Hall, in Sandy Bay, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, in Sandy Bay, SK, with Father Heinner Paucar, OMI, officiating.
