Denise (D.D.) Nadeau (nee Waddington)
D.D. was born on February 5, 1963 to Stanley and Marjorie Waddington in Borden, Saskatchewan. As a child, she moved around a lot because her dad was a reverand with the Anglican Church. She finally settled in Prince Albert, and married Emile Gareau in July of 1981. Together they raised 10 children.
Throughout her adult life, D.D. was a member of St. George's Anglican Church where she served as secretary and assisted with the alter boys and girls. D.D. was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, serving on the executive for a few years. This was a role she was very proud of because both her parents were veterans. D.D. was also very proud of ther children, especially their individual roles and ranks in cadets.
D.D enjoyed camping with the family. They spent many summers visiting several campsites, most notably Poplar Beach. D.D. married Denis Nadeau in April of 2010, and always thought fondly and highly of him and his family.
Denise was predeseased by her parents, Reverand Stanley and Marjorie Waddington; her nephew Dwayne Dirksen, and her brother-in-law Ike Dirksen. She is survived by her husband, Denis; her children, Adreanna (Roger) Boucher, Lasha Gareau, Deborah (Robbie) Engel, Chantelle Gareau, Louis Gareau, Charlie Gareau, Andii Gareau, David Gareau, Charity Gareau, and Dominique Gareau; her grandson, Connor Rasmussen; her step-children, Brandon (Brittney) and Carissa (Josh); 2 brothers; 3 sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
