The family of Denis Beauchesne is saddened to announce his passing on March 7, 2020. Denis was born on April 15, 1955 in Tisdale, SK to Maurice and Rita Beauchesne. Family was important to Denis. In Denis’ first marriage he had two daughters and when he married Debbie Jenkins on September 15, 1990, he instantly inherited two more children, who he took on as his own. Denis and Debbie also had another son born from their marriage and in 1996, Denis and Debbie found out that Denis had another son, who they welcomed into their family and treated him as their own. Denis and Debbie always joke about the kids being “yours, mine, and ours” but they were in reality considered all “ours”. Denis loved to have family barbeques and enjoyed family camping trips. Denis was excellent at barbequing and could make anything on the barbeque and there never any complaints. He also would ensure there was enough food for all, which sometimes he went a bit overboard so there were way too many left overs. Denis did not just see his children and Debbie as his family, but included many close friends as his family and enjoyed having them come over for barbeques and visits. All friends and family were welcomed into his home with open arms and everyone was given a chance. Denis had a contagious laugh when he thought something was really fun, there were times where he would be laughing so hard, he had trouble breathing, which in turn made everyone else around him laugh. Denis will be remembered by his loving wife of almost 30 years Debbie, his children Chantelle (Ryan) Hovdebo, Nicole (Russ) Rahn, Tanya Jenkins, Peter (Kara) Jenkins, Lawrence (Gina) Beauchesne, and Michael (Nicola) Goffic. He will be remembered by his grandchildren; Trey Jenkins, Branden, Jenkins, Arianna and Logan Hovdebo, Richard, Dreven, and Emily Rahn, Kashia Jenkins-Day, Kenzie Christensson, Blake Jenkins, Alex Jenkins-Wolfe, Hunter Beauchesne, Venessa, Nicola, and Antonio Goffic, and Hailey and Logan Kays. Denis was predeceased by his parents Maurice and Rita Beauchesne, his parents-in-law Jack and Sylvia Jenkins, and a grandchild in infancy Chance Rahn. At this time, a date for a funeral has not been set and will be announced on a further date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local SPCA.
