With broken hearts we announce the passing of Delyn Marie Anderson. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Saturday, July 25, 2020, at the age of 54, at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK. Delyn “Mom” was the most amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, auntie and friend to everyone! She is the second oldest of 5 children, born to Peter and Francis Lasko. Mom was born in Porcupine Plain, SK on Monday, August 16, 1965, and raised on the farm near Prairie River, SK. She attended school in Prairie River until Grade 8, then continued schooling in Hudson Bay, SK from grade 9 to 12, graduating in 1983. Then onto business college in Prince Albert, SK. Growing up she was active in 4H, baseball, curling and other things like that. Mom began dating the love of her life Dad (Dave), when she was 14. They enjoyed a lot of good times together, and a true long lasting love was blossoming. Their life together began in Hudson Bay, starting their family with daughter Kristy on March 21st, 1984. They married and committed themselves to each other on August 17th, 1984. Being between Hudson Bay and Prince Albert they found out they were going to have twins! They welcomed sons Tyson & Travis on January 9th, 1987. Mom and Dad moved to Moose Jaw, then found their permanent home in Prince Albert in 1990. In PA, Mom worked for Grant’s Liberty Tax for years. After that being off for a few years, she invested her time to her family! Always being there to help Dad, us kids or anyone through anything. Always being involved in all our sports and everything. She loved going out fishing, boating and camping, her and Dad did a lot of that! Later on, Mom went to work for Mr. Plumber, and continued there until she couldn’t work due to her getting sick. She loved her job and everyone that she knew. Mom really enjoyed reading, had a few hobbies, but she always put everyone else first, family and friends were everything to her. She loved having a house full of people, just being able to be around everyone she loved. She was ecstatic when she found out she was going to be a grandma, and was the most amazing one anyone could ask for! Again she took in everyone with open arms and always treated them like family and with so much love. Her love for Dad, us kids, grandkids and all family and friends will never be forgotten. We will all always love and miss you Mom! Delyn leaves to mourn her husband Dave and their children; Kristy (Warren) and children Ethan (Brooke), Megan & Liam; Tyson and children Peyton & Carter; Travis (Jessica); brother Dale (Cindy) and children Cody (Maggie), Colton (Kim) and children Sawyer & Wyatt, Cohen (Krista); sister Dolores (Stan), children Stephanie (Martin), children Braxton & Bennett, Marianna (Nick), Timothy, Barbara (Keif) and children Jaron; brother Terry (Nicole) and children Brianne, Paige & Arielle. Many sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family; and all her children’s many friends that she was another Mom, Grandma and friend too. Delyn is predeceased by her parents, Francis & Peter Lasko; her mother and father-in-law, Devona & Alvin Anderson; her sister Dianne; brother-in-law Harry; sister-in-law Bonnie; sister-in-law Darlene; and many aunts and uncles. Private Graveside Service will be held for Delyn.
