Delia Mary Bird – late of Gainsborough, SK, formerly of Little Red, SK, passed away in Gainsborough, SK on January 4, 2014 at the age of 76 years. Delia will be lovingly remembered by her sons: John (Georgina) Bird, Robert Bird and John Jason (Angie) Bird; Her daughter: Darlene (Jim) Laurent; Her grandchildren: Jennifer Bird, Lisa Bird, Delia Bird, John Jr. Bird, Joanne (Derek) Kirby, Bobbie Williams, Anthony Bird, Sontona Bird, Jaqualene (Sebastien) Bird, Carter Bird, Ryen Bird, Eryck Bird, Marcella Bird, Joshua Bird and Jeremy Bird; her great-grandchildren: Jayda Lee Dawn Kirby, Kamri Sarah Darlene Kirby and Halle Mae William; her daughter-in-law: Carol Bird; her sister-in-law: Lorna Ballantyne; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Delia was predeceased by her husbands: Richard Britton and John Anthony; her parents: Gilbert Bird and Rosie (Bird) Ballantyne; her son: Clarence Bird; her granddaughter: Margaret Sarah Williams; her sisters: Stella Koop and Charlotte Halkett and her brother: Wilson Ballantyne. A Wake will be commencing Tuesday January, 7, 2014, Red Hall, Little Red, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2014 – 11:00 am, Little Red School Gym, Little Red, SK.
