Deanna Rindal

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of the rock of our family, a friend, and a loving wife and mother Deanna Fay Rindal.
Deanna passed away at home in a room surrounded by love from her husband, son, and daughter. Deanna faced her final battle with cancer the same way she approached life – with dignity and grace. Deanna will always be remembered for her positive attitude, cheery disposition, big beautiful smile and laugh that could fill a room.
Deanna had a passion for life and for living. She was passionate about many things; for her church and her faith, her role as a curling official, kayaking, travelling and spending time with her family. Her role as a curling official took her to many big events provincially, nationally, and internationally. In 2017 she was inducted into the Prince Albert Sports Hall of Fame for being an ambassador of the sport of curling. While she had many sources of pride to reflect back upon throughout her lifetime the greatest source of pride was her two children Preston and Peyton. To see how her influence has shaped them into accomplished young adults made her very proud. She will surely be missed and will be leaving a gaping wound in our hearts, but she knew she was going to be in the hands of her Father.
Deanna will be missed by her loving husband of 29 years Bryan; her son Preston; her daughter Peyton; her mother Muriel Hemstad; her siblings Gerry (Linda) Hemstad; Kim Hemstad- Falk (Larry Falk), Wendy (Bob) Smith, and Greg (Corrine) Hemstad, and her mother- in- law Winnie Rindal; her brothers- in- law Curtis Rindal, and David (Sheila) Rindal and numerous other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father Knute Hemstad, and her father- in- law Thomas Rindal.
It was Deanna’s wish that we Celebrate her Life, with that in mind please join us wearing bright and cheery attire (no black) at 11:00am on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Messiah Lutheran Church 1796 15th Ave East, Prince Albert, SK with Pastor Fran Schmidt officiating.
