1937 – 2016
It is with sadness that the family of David Clayton announces his sudden passing in his home near Meath Park. David is survived by his wife, Rosemary, his three children, Julie, Ian, and Karen (Paul), five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his mother, Alice, and his father, Alfred. Born in Sheffield, England, David brought his wife and family to Canada in 1968 to pursue his dream of farming. His dreams brought the family from Woodstock, Ontario, to Saskatchewan in 1980. David took much delight in farming and treasured his final years spent on the farm with his wife by his side, surrounded by the wide open spaces and his dogs. A Celebration of David’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at the Salvation Army Church, 163 12th Street East, Prince Albert, SK. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of River Park Memorial Chapel, Don Moriarty, Funeral Director.
