David Leslie BEAR
January 3rd 1964 – November 4, 2016
The family of David Bear are deeply saddened to announce his passing at the age of 52 years. David leaves behind his sister Deborah Bear; his sister-in-law Janet Bear; his nieces Sundi (Barrett) Bear, Deanna (Kyle) Alm, Audrey (Logan) Bear, Samanthajean Bear; his nephew Greg (Chantelle) Bear, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews all who were very dear to him. David was predeceased by his parents Yvonne Carter (nee Bear) and Andrew Hont; stepfather Richard Carter; grandparents Rhoda and Sam Bear; brother Gary Wilfred Bear and numerous relatives. David was born in Brandon, Manitoba. He was the second oldest of three children. He grew up on Muskoday in the early years and from grade 3 on, he grew up in Prince Albert SK. He attended King George and Vincent Massey Schools. He spent a few years enjoying the living in other cities and towns such as Brandon, Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Hudson Bay. David worked on and off in the years as a dishwasher, summer firefighter up north and also helped friends up north harvest rice from the lakes. He was an all around child caregiver for family and friends throughout the years. He will be deeply missed by many friends and family. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday November 10, 2016 at Muskoday Band Hall, Muskoday, SK with Celebrant Sherry Ouellette. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306-922-4729).
