DAVID ALLBRIGHT
1952 – 2012
With his daughter by his side Dave Allbright passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 11, 2012. Dave was born in Prince Albert to Ralph and Anne (Nelson) Allbright. He was the oldest of four siblings Gordon, Robert and Brenda. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Brenda. Dave leaves to mourn his daughter Miranda (and her mother Agnes); his brothers Gordon and Robert; brother-in-law Roger Thurston; nephew Trent; niece Kasey; great-niece Hannah as well as numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. Dave loved to golf and play slo-pitch. He was an avid hockey fan; the Detroit Redwings were his favorite team. Dave also supported the Prince Albert Raiders and rarely missed a home game. Dave loved sports and was proud to coach his daughter’s ball team in her younger years. Dave made his career in the lumber industry. He was employed by North American Lumber, Beaver Lumber and Econo Lumber where he worked for many years until his health failed. Dave will be remembered by his devotion to his daughter and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 15 from River Park Memorial Chapel – 301 River Street West. Reverend Tony Thompson will officiate. Interment will take place at South Hill Cemetery. It is the family’s request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
