On Monday, January 27, 2020, at the age of 59 years, Dave passed away peacefully surrounded by the people who loved him most.

Dave was born on Wednesday, January 25, 1961, in Prince Albert, SK. By trade, Dave was an electrician, he received his Journeyman Certification at 21, in 1982. In the following year, Dave and his brother Bill opened their electrical company. Dave started his family in 1990 with the birth of his first son, Scott, continued with Darren in 1992, and completed with Ryan in 1995. Dave grew his family on the same farm on which he was raised. In 2000 the doors opened on Northern Rentals, which he operated until its closing in 2017. Dave then retired although he continued his lifelong job of farming. He loved to watch things grow from his garden, his crops, to his three boys.

Dave is survived and loved by his three sons, Scott, Darren (Diandra St. Hilaire), and Ryan; his brother, Bill (Sharron). Dave will be lovingly remembered by the rest of his friends and family. He was predeceased by his father, Nick; and his mother, Mary.

The Funeral Service for Dave will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at Plaza 88, 888 Central Ave, Prince Albert, SK. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dave Sokulski, with proceeds being made to the Mazankowski Heart Institute and the Sokulski family.
