The Position:
Reporting to the Director of Well-being Services, the Data Research Technician will collect, organize, and maintain data, ensuring accuracy and integrity of information to support the provisions required by class members of the Removed Child Class and the Removed Child Family Class settlement within the seven first nation communities. This position will be responsible for pulling, gathering, entering, updating and monitoring client information in a timely and accurately manner.
Responsibilities:
- Entering client and case management information into appropriate database.
- Develop process to identify class member information.
- Developing data reports.
- Identifying, correcting and reporting data entry errors and omissions.
- Print and distribute reports as directed.
- Maintaining and updating client records in an organized manner.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports and ensure client follow-up as required by management in a timely manner, and;
- Perform other related duties as defined and assigned by the reporting director and designate on an as and when required bases.
Education and Experience:
- Diploma in Business Administration or post-secondary education.
- 2-3 years of experience in data management.

Other Work Conditions:
- Must possess a valid driver’s license (class 5) and meet STC’s insurance requirements.
- Must provide a current, original, Canadian Criminal Record Check (CPIC) with vulnerable sector search as a condition of employment.
