Daryl is lovingly remembered by her children: Shinay Harris, Cedes Harris, Shilese Harris, Chasen Chovmont, Shaiden Thomas, and Caylen Laroque; her parents: Dionne Thomas and Howard Thomas; her siblings: Valen Thomas, Lorissa Thomas (Richard), Leeanne Thomas (Dustin), Trent Thomas (Miranda), Summer Knife, Steven Bear (Hailey), Tyler Thomas, Marshall (Blade) Thomas, Arayah Thomas, Jaxxon (Jenna) Thomas, and Jessica Knife; her Kokom: Jean Thomas; her special uncles and aunts: Kenny and Ashley William, Vinny Knife, Warren Knife, Verla Knife, Wallace Thomas, Kevin Thomas, Travis Thomas and Andy Thomas; her special friend: Muryl Tyler. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and all who loved her friends and family.
She was predeceased by her sister: Lashonda Knife; her grandparents: Evelyn Williams, Douglas Williams, Willy Halkett; her great grandparents: Ada Rose Knife, Albert Knife, Jack Thomas, Mary Thomas, Elimrie Lewis, John Lewis, Anne Williams, Simon Williams, Jessica Bird, and Absolem Bird; Uncles: Marshall Thomas and Darrell William; Cousins: Adam Fineday, Aiden William, and Quennell Bear; Nephew: Giovanni Maurice; Aunt: Kimberly Little.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 5, 2024 with both services being held at Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall, Sandy Lake, SK. Interment will follow in the St. Mark’s Anglican Cemetery, Ahtahkakoop First Nation, SK.
