July 31, 1946 – September 12, 2025

Darryl Rodney Olson, age 79 of Whitecourt, Alberta passed away peacefully at home on September 12, 2025.

Born on July 31, 1946 in Prince Albert, Sask, Rodney was the son of the late Erling Olson and Ellen Miller.

Rodney drove truck from the age of 14 and was a unique person, he was passionate about working on his yard and keeping up with the grass, shrubs and flowers; he also enjoyed spending time with friends and the simple things in life.

Rodney is survived by his children, Chad Olson (Heather), Shannan Jensen (Brian, and Rodney Olson (Amber) as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers a donation in Rodney’s name can be made to the Heart and Stoke Foundation of Canada.

There will be no formal service held.
