Darrell Lawrence DelaRonde

On October 23rd, 2020 from the Comox Valley B.C. formerly of Mont Nebo SK passed away at the age of 65 with his loving wife at his side.

He will be sadly missed, lovingly remembered and left to mourn his passing by Saskia, his beloved wife and soulmate. His children Joshua, Paige and Jordan. His step sons Mark and Michael of B.C. His mother Ruth Delaronde, Prince albert, his brother Wayne, his sister Wendy. His nieces and nephews Jennifer, Kelly, Jody and Ashley. Great nephew Milo and great niece Ruby. His special family Rod and Cathy Atkinson and family plus numerous cousins

He was predeceased by his father Vern in 2012, his grandparents and many aunts and uncles.

Darrell was born in Shellbrook Sk and raised on the farm in Mont Nebo SK. He attended W.P. Sandin school in Shellbrook which was named after his grandfather. Darrell excelled in music from a very young age. Music was his life. After moving to British Columbia he started many bands and played rock and roll as only he could do, singing in his beautiful bass voice and excelled with his profound guitar, mandolin and fiddle playing. When he met his wife Saskia they began a musical career with Saskia on bass and Darrell on guitar blending their voices in harmony, warming hearts and bringing love and laughter to their followers in Germany, Switzerland, Holland and all across Canada and the North. He loved to come home, he loved his family here so much and the camaraderie and teasing with his sister Wendy will forever be cherished.
