Dale Zimmerman

Dale Grant Zimmerman was born on August 18, 1962 in Saskatoon to Joe and Marion Zimmerman. He passed away on June 16, 2015 after a brief illness with cancer. Dale is survived by his wife of 32 years, Cheryl Zimmerman; his son Logan and his wife Carmelle, and their children Holden and Harper Zimmerman; his daughter Bailey and her husband Jesse Hoefels; his mother Marion Zimmerman; his father and mother-in-law Wilfred and Lorraine Jordison; his brother Darren and his wife Karen Zimmerman; his sister Diane and her husband Lance Herman. He is also survived by brothers and sisters in-law Terry Jordison, Scott and Cindy Jordison, Kelly and Leslie Jordison, Jason and Dawn Perrin; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Joe Zimmerman; brother-in-law Brian Jordison and nephew Nathan Jordison. After graduating from SIAST he took a job at Rawlco Radio, where he worked as a technician for 22 years. He loved the outdoors, computers, and a corny joke. Dale was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1978. Dale’s faith was the integral part of his life right up until his death. In June of 2004 he was injured in a car accident leaving him paralyzed from the chest down. He found great comfort and hope from his Bible study. He shared this hope and comfort with everyone he could. Despite his physical limitations he maintained a positive outlook and encouraged many people. Dale and his family are very grateful for all the support of friends, family and all the homecare staff. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the E.A. Rawlinson Centre, 142 – 12th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Bryce Smith officiating. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
