DALE MERASTY

1985 – 2016

 

Dale Curtis Nelson Merasty was born on Sunday, February 24, 1985, in Prince Albert, SK, and was taken from us on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, in Saskatoon, SK, at the young age of 31 years. Dale will be deeply missed by his parents, Leslie Merasty and Ernest (Phelagie) McCallum Sr., his two children, Warren and Lyllie, his sisters, Michelle, Mary, Megan, Melissa, Olivia, Melody and Tianna, his brothers, Jason, Lanny, Ernest Jr. and Louison, his grandfather, Philip Merasty, his nieces, Salesia, Serenity, Shelby, Bailey, Alayna, Mercedis, Alita, Shine, Alvena and Karli, his nephews, Lyndon, Sonny, Riley, Brandon, Elijah and Dean, and his special friend, Jennifer Anderson, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Dale was predeceased by his grandparents, Therese Merasty, Antoine and Mary McCallum, his great-grandparents, his niece, Savannah, and his uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. A wake service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2016, at the Prince Albert Anavets Club in Prince Albert, and continued at the home of Leslie Merasty in Sandy Bay, SK, then continued on Sunday, April 24, 2016, at Gary Memorial Hall in Sandy Bay, SK. Dale’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2016, at the Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church in Sandy Bay, SK, Father Paul officiating. Interment to follow at Sandy Bay Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of River Park Memorial Chapel, Prince Albert, SK, 306-764-2727, Carla Jesso, Funeral Director.
