It is with great sadness that the family of Dale Fredrick Meyers, late of Birch Hills, SK announces his sudden passing on March 25, 2022, at the age of 78 years.

Dale was born in Kinistino, SK on November 10, 1943, to Fred and Marj Meyers.  He married Sarah on July 27^th, 1979, and they were married for 42 years.  Dale worked as a caretaker for 34 years with the Saskatchewan Rivers School Division before retiring in 2018 at the age of 74.

He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and visiting with family & friends, but his greatest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren.  Dale was always willing to help anyone in need. 

Dale is survived by his wife Sarah; his children Josie (Rowan) Brewster, Scott Meyers, & Twyla (Brad) Halayka; his five grandchildren Ciana, Autumn, Braden, Kaden, and Kayla; his siblings Yvonne (Stan), Christine (Peter), Donnie (Donna) and Karen; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Dale is predeceased by his parents Fred and Marj; his sister Elsie (Bob) Anderson.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a memorial donation to your local food bank of choice.

A Visitation for Dale will be held at MacKenzie Chapel on Wednesday, March 30th, 2022, at 7 PM. The funeral service for Dale will be held at Lake Park Baptist Church in Birch Hills, SK on Friday, April 1st, 2022, at 11:00 AM. Luncheon to follow the service.
