Cyril Raymond Deschambeault

April 18, 1951 ~ February 19, 2021

 

It is with great sadness that the family of Cyril Raymond Deschambeault announce his sudden passing at the age of 69 in Edmonton, Alberta on February 19, 2021.

Cyril was born and raised in the Glen Mary District to Amie Deschambeault and Beatrice Umpherville.

Cyril married Marilyn Sayese on July 24, 1971 at St. Alban’s Cathedral in Prince Albert, SK.

They raised their four boys Dale, Amie, Rod and Ernie in Prince Albert until their move to Edmonton in 1981.

Cyril is survived by his wife Marilyn; sons: Dale (Lindsay), Amie, Rod, Ernest “Ernie”; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; sister Brenda (Vic), Marlene; brother Danny (Brenda); sisters-in-law  Sharon Sayese and Dorothy Wardman uncle Joseph Deschambeault; aunts Rachel McCormick and Emily Umpherville; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cyril was predeceased by father Amie; mother Beatrice; stepfather Allan Sayese; sisters: Doris, Shelly, Fern, Annette; brothers Herman, Dale, Norman; paternal grandparents Louis and Alvina Deschambeault; maternal grandparents Peter and Nancy Umpherville.

A Public Viewing will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Please note that all COVID rules and regulations will be upheld at this time, masks and hand sanitizer must be used, only thirty people will be allowed in the facility with social distancing measures upheld during this time. We appreciate all rules and regulations held on premises in and outside the property for the safety of the family and all guests for this allowed viewing.

Private Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2021.  Both Services will be held at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 28 Street West, Prince Albert, SK.  Services will be live streamed and videotaped. If you wish to view the service, the live stream link is aspenfilms.ca/grays.  Interment will be held at a later date.
