Loving wife, mother and grandmother, Cynthia LaRose (nee McLeod), passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her husband and best friend on March 3, 2011. She was born on August 1, 1959, attended Red Wing Elementary School, then Composite High School, later getting her degree in writing. Cynthia was married in 1977 to Dave LaRose, who was her high school sweetheart. Cynthia’s major joy in life was the time she spent with her husband Dave, her children Carrie and Tom, her grandchildren Brianne, Prestyn, Piper and Ryann, her great niece Emma and great nephew Ian whom she all adored very deeply, as well as many good times with family and friends. Cynthia has always considered her niece Shawna as one of her own children and held a special place in her heart. Her passions in life were her family, her writing – for herself and her grandchildren, spending time in her waterfall flower beds, her pets, and the theater groups she spent time with acting and directing.
