The family of Curtis Chomey sadly announce his passing on September 27, 2025.
Dad had a lifelong love for the outdoors. He spent countless days fishing, from rivers to open lakes, and enjoyed every kind of it. When he wasn’t fishing, he could often be found hunting or walking fields looking for sheds.
He had a passion for filmmaking and took pride in capturing life through his lens. He especially loved filming his daughters’ sports games, recording every play and moment from the sidelines.
He also coached his daughters’ softball team for many years and even built a pitching mound in the backyard so they could practice together. Some of the best memories were made out there, throwing pitches long after the sun went down.
Dad worked for Pepsi for many years and enjoyed collecting Pepsi memorabilia, building a collection that reflected his pride in the company and its history.
He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his love for coaching, and the time he spent doing what he enjoyed most.
In keeping with Curtis’ wishes, no service will be held.
