SCHOCK – Connie
Constance ‘Connie’ Rose Schock, late of Prince Albert, Sk., passed away on March 17/2025 in Prince Albert. Connie was born on April 17, 1939, in Prince Albert, SK to Walter and Helen Lutz. Connie had 6 siblings and grew up in the Shell Lake area. She played ball in school and from what we were told, she had a great throwing arm.
Connie married the love of her life, Lawrence Schock, on December 29/1958 in Mildred, SK Catholic Church. They started their family in Mont Nebo, Sk., where Randy, Lori, and Darren were born. In 1966, they moved to Canwood SK., where Sherri and Melanie were born, and they made that their lifelong home.
Connie worked as a nurse’s aide and a dietary aide but being a wife and Mom was her top priority. She was involved in and was on the board of many organizations over the years and was a lifetime member of the Royal Purple.
Connie loved sports and followed all 5 of her children to many competitions and then on to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s events as well. Connie was a wonderful cook and baker, and her children and grandchildren shared many delicious meals and treats. Lawrence passed away in 2000 and Connie lived independently until November of 2023. She moved to Good Shepard Villa on April 1/2024. Connie thought of Good Shepard as her new home and the staff there were very kind and compassionate. We will miss her humour, laughter and her beautiful smile that could light up a room.
