Colleen Rebecca McKenzie was born on Saturday, March 2, 1974, in La Ronge, SK, and passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016, in La Ronge, SK, at the age of 41 years. Colleen is survived by her loving family, her companion, Rick Kirkham, her children, Sarah Kirkham (Billy Ross), Jared Kirkham, and Karen Kirkham, her father, Thomas Ratt (Maria Ratt), her step-father, Myles Charles, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ron and Barb Kirkham, her sisters and brothers, Betsy McKenzie, Lena McKenzie, Alice McKenzie, Andrew McKenzie, Polly Halkett, Jemima Ratt, Thomas Ratt, Archie Ratt, Thomas Halkett, Daniel Halkett, Betsy (Blair) Eyahpaise, and Alex Halkett, her grandmother, Jemima Ratt, her grandfather, Gilbert Ratt, and her brothers-in-law, Kevin Kirkham and Cory Kirkham (Karen Charles), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her mother,  Mary Isabella McKenzie, her grandparents, McIvor and Maggie (nee Ratt) McKenzie,  Doug and Helen Kirkham and Willard and Laura Rosvold, her niece, Chenille Eyahpaise, her nephew, Tyler Walker, and her cousins, Jeffrey Layton and Billy Gale. Colleen’s wake will be held at 5:00 p.m., Monday, January 25, 2016, at Kitsaki Hall in La Ronge, SK, and her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at the All Saints Anglican Church in La Ronge, SK, Bishop Adam Halkett officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery in La Ronge, SK. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to River Park Memorial Chapel, Prince Albert, SK, Don Moriarty, funeral director, and  Lac La Ronge Funeral Home, La Ronge, SK, Debra Klassen, funeral director.
