Clistine Darlene Fisher
(October 16, 1941 – December 25, 2011)
Clistine Fisher born October 16, 1941 passed away at home with her loving husband Bob Fisher at her side on Sunday, Christmas Day, December 25, 2011.
Clistine was born in Shipman, Saskatchewan in the post office. Their early married life saw them living on a farm in Deer Ridge where they had their sons Dwayne and Darwin. They moved their house from there to Peter Pond where they had their daughter Darcee-Rae. In 1975 they moved to Candle Lake for a year before moving to an acreage on the Candle Lake highway. We lived there until 1978 after the boy’s accident we moved to Prince Albert where we resided until 1988 .For several years after mom and dad lived at their house at Emma Lake.
Dad in his retirement went farming for a while at their home by Weirdale where mom helped with the household duties while he tended the cows. The last few years they enjoyed their place at Tobin Lake together. Mom enjoyed watching curling, baseball, figure skating but her greatest joy was being able to attend her grandchildren’s Ukrainian Dance competitions, plays, and school concerts. Clistine and Bob celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 18th, 2011. Clistine will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Mom was predeceased by her dad Elmon McClintick and her mom Ella McClintick, her sister Frances McClintick; their sons Dwayne and Darwin Fisher. Clistine is survived by her husband Bob Fisher; her daughter Darcee- Rae; son-in-law Doug Kerley; her grandchildren Alayshia, Dylan and Sarah Kerley; her sister Anne; brother-in-law Abbie Roth; also numerous nieces and nephews on both the sides of the families.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 30 from River Park Memorial Chapel – 301 River Street West. Reverend Tony Thompson will officiate. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
