Clayton Osborne Ballantyne, late of Big River First Nation, SK, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025, at the age of 64 years at his home in Big River First Nation, SK.

Wake Services for Clayton will commence at 4:00 PM on Sunday, April 13, 2025, from the Sturgeon Lake First Nation Community Hall. The Funeral Service for Clayton will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Sturgeon Lake First Nation Community Hall. Clayton will be laid to rest in the West Central Cemetery at Sturgeon Lake First Nation.

Clayton is lovingly survived by his partner, Rosie Halkett-McAdam; his children, Clayton Jr, Robin, Ramsay, Adrian & Roxanne; his 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; his sisters Roselyn (Lawrence), Maxine (Robert), Marcia, Dennis, and Dwayne; his best friend bro, Velmar Ermine. Clayton is predeceased by his parents, Austin and Melvina Ballantyne; his two daughters, April & Samantha; his brothers, Martin Ballantyne and Dale Ballantyne; his sisters, Genevieve Turner, and Debra Ballantyne; his maternal grandparents, Edward & Florence Bird; his paternal grandparents, Albert Ballantyne & Margaret Anderson.

Clayton will be remembered and missed by all those who knew him and shared in his life’s journey.
