It is with heavy hearts the family of Claude J. Tucker, late of Shellbrook, SK announce his passing at home on October 28^th, 2023, at the age of 84 years. Claude was born July 22^nd, 1939, in Triton, NFLD to William and Susan Tucker. They had 5 children Beulah, Calvin, Claude, Keith, & Alton, and all are now deceased. Claude graduated from EPBC in 1963 and became a Pentecostal pastor. Claude married Rita Young on August 8^th, 1964, and were lifelong companions. Together they were blessed with four daughters Renee, Roxane, Roslyn, and Ruthann. Claude ministered with the PAOC for over 40 years, in NFLD and multiple places in Saskatchewan. When Claude “retired” he cooked at bible camps. He worked for MacKenzie Funeral Home for over 12 years. His last employment was as a “sitter” – a companion to elderly and sick patients, which he did up until 4 months prior to his passing. Claude enjoyed singing, and playing the accordion and organ. He loved gardening, cooking, reading, playing games, and fellowship with his many friends. He was always available to lend a hand and help with whatever needed to be done including washing dishes. He loved to drive and saw lots of Canada and the USA that way. Notably Valda, Danny, Philip, and Sylvi held a special place in Claude’s heart. Claude will be remembered for his unconditional love and acceptance of everyone, his ministry for God, and his kindness and passion to help wherever he was needed. Claude will be lovingly remembered by his wife Rita; his children Renee, Roxane, Roslyn, & Ruthann (Clayton); his 5 grandchildren Genessa (Ian), Dante, Ghislyn, Kaeden, & Gavin; his 2 great-grandchildren Sylvi & Tobias; as well as numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends that will miss him greatly. A Visitation Service will be held for Claude on Thursday, November 2^nd, 2023, at the Shellbrook Pentecostal Assembly at 7 PM in Shellbrook, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 3^rd, 2023, at the Shellbrook Pentecostal Assembly at 1:30 PM in Shellbrook, SK.  For those unable to attend it can be viewed at https://youtu.be/LBx9mtn48zk.
