Claude Albert Chartier passed away peacefully on Friday, September 9, 2016 surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 69 years. He was born to Louis and Marthe Chartier in Zenon Park, SK. Claude married Jeannette Ouellette on August 26, 1967. Together they worked and raised their two children Michael and Connie. Throughout his life he enjoyed work, camping, traveling, and meeting new people. Above all he loved his family and many friends.  Claude leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 49 years Jeannette (nee Ouellette); his son Michael (Patty) Chartier and their son Zachary; his daughter Connie (Gerald) Tessier and their children Landen, Adam, and Blake; his sisters Bernice (Gordon) Barnett, Suzanne Chartier, Jackie (Larry) Brewster; his sisters-in-law Diane Turgeon, Cecile Walker, Pauline (Brian) Spooner; his brothers- in-law Richard (Gloria) Ouellette, Julien (Janice) Ouellette, Yves (Lorraine) Ouellette, and Denis (Tina) Ouellette, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  He was predeceased by his parents Louis and Marthe Chartier, his sister Dolores (Andy) April, and brother Paul Chartier. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 1401- 4^th Avenue West, Prince Albert, SK with Father Matthew Nguyen officiating. Interment will follow at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of tributes memorial donations may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
