Christopher Henry Thimpsen was born on Friday, August 8, 1969, and passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at the age of 47 years. Chris is survived by his loving family, his wife Catherine (nee Charles) Thimpsen, his son Christopher Thimpsen (Annika Gruel), his stepson John Charles, his daughters Christine (Thomas) Venne, Jamielee (Tyrell) Venne and Jean Venne, his grandchildren Esme, Lydia, Tylee, Agnes, Johnny, Amadis, Steven, Embry and Liam, his father Chris (Maryanne) Thimpsen, his mother Lydia Thimpsen (Dave Cook), his grandmother Jemima Ratt, his sisters and brothers, Cindy Thimpsen, Wanda McKenzie (Brian Kelly), Fran (Dan) Thimpsen, Paul (Margaret) Thimpsen and Christine McKenzie, his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Mary Jean Lavallee, Jessica Charles, Leroy (Rachel) Charles, Patsy (Darrell) Greve, Julia (Aron) Charles, Mary jane (Amelio) Roberts and Joanne Charles, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Rose Charles, his favorite nephew Cordell Simon, and his special friend Allen Morrow, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Wanda Venne, his son Henry Thimpsen, his nephew Johnathan Thimpsen, his grandmother Betsy Ratt, his brother-in-law and friend Jason Charles, his aunt Emily Maggrah, and his grandparents-in-law Philip Charles, Jean Fiddler and Mariah Halkett. A wake service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Kitsaki Hall in La Ronge, SK. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the All Saints Anglican Church in La Ronge, SK, Reverend Richard Custer officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery in La Ronge, SK.
