Christiana Gertruida ELDSTROM (KIES)

March 24, 1945 – April 28, 2016

Christiana Gertruida Eldstrom, 71 years of age passed away on April 28, 2016 in Prince Albert, SK.  She was born on March 24, 1945 in Robertson, South Africa.  Christiana is survived by her husband Lee Eldstrom; her children Marc Kies (Lynnette) and Leanna Kane (Sheldon); her grandchildren Emma, Danieka, Jakob, Madison, Jayden and Kinsley and her sister Adele (Basil).

She was predeceased by her parents Daniel and Christiana Kies and her sisters Peiring, Joan, Fanna and Danie.  Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday May 3, 2016 at the Halcro Cemetery with the Reverend Dr. Norbert Haukenfrers officiating.  Tea to follow at the St. Louis Seniors / Bowling Alley.  A big thank you to “the Linda’s”, Nicole and all nurses at Prince Albert Homecare, the 5th floor Staff at Prince Albert Victoria Hospital and the many family members who gave us a great deal of support over the last few months.  In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to support bill C-14 and donate to the Canadian Cancer Society, 54 – 11th Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 0Z9.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306-922-4729).
