It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Cheyanna Sunshine Cree Moosehunter, late of Saskatoon, SK formerly of Sturgeon Lake, SK on June 25th, 2022, at the age of 29 years. Cheyanna was born on December 21^st, 1992, in Prince Albert, SK to Danny & Bev Moosehunter. Cheyanna will be lovingly remembered by her partner Richard Charles; her son Zane Moosehunter; her parents Danny & Beverly Moosehunter; her sisters Lisa Hunter, & Autumn Moosehunter; her brother Dallas Moosehunter; her son’s father Taylor Parenteau; her adopted siblings Cayla Longjohn, Tarissa Daniels-Whitehead, Jerrika & Patrick Ermine; her in-laws and son’s grandparents Fred & Tanya Felix; her grandmothers Maryann Dreaver, & Elizabeth Wolfe; her niece Tasha; her nephews Drayden, Deacon, Colby, & Liam; her extended family the Felix’s & Ermine’s; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, & friends. Cheyanna was predeceased by her baby; her grandparents Lloyd (Theresa) Moosehunter, & Alvin (Evelyn) Keller; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, & friends. A Wake Service will be commencing June 30^th, 2022, at 1:30 PM at Sturgeon Lake Central School Gym. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, July 1^st, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Sturgeon Lake Central School Gym in Sturgeon Lake, SK. The Officiant is Willie Ermine. The Honourary Pallbearers are all those who knew and loved Cheyanna & Sturgeon Lake School Staff. Her Pallbearers are Kiwi Moosehunter, Dion Turner, Richie Moosehunter, Patrick Ermine, Lloyd Laliberte, & Billy Turner. The Interment will be at West Central Cemetery in Sturgeon Lake, SK.
