Cheryl Fiddler

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sheri (Cheryl) Fiddler on March 6, 2016 after a lengthy illness. Sheri fought a courageous battle right to the end. Sheri is survived by her soul-mate “Gordie” Vancoughnett; daughter LeeAnn Towriss and the lights of her life…grandchildren Preslee and Ethan Altenberg; her mother Mary Fiddler; her siblings Bruce (Phyllis) Fiddler, Lorna (Darrell) Ledoux, Faith Burke, Randy (Dianne) Fiddler, Wade (Leslie) Fiddler, Gary (Linda) Fiddler, Carol (Wade) Connolly, Ethyl Fiddler, Corrine (Jack) Fiddler and Justin (Kristi) Fiddler; brother-in-law Don (Jeanette) Vancoughnett; sisters-in-law Pat Amos and Sharon (Mike) Zaleschuk; numerous nieces and nephews and special friend and sister-in-law Gayle Paskaruk & Yvette Boyer. She was predeceased by her father Lambert Fiddler; grandparents Isadore and Philimene Ledoux and Joseph and Matilda Fiddler; her nephew Jared Fiddler; special family members Sharon “Tubby” Desormeau, Joyce Pruden and Roxanne Desormeau; numerous aunts and uncles; in-laws Arnold and Margaret Vancoughnett and brother-in-law Bob Paskaruk. The family would like to give heartfelt thanks to Dr. Gordon Surkan; 5th Floor Nursing Staff – most notably “Darcie” and also her medical team at the Royal University Hospital. Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2016 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 260 – 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Mrs. Margaret Ferchuk officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of other tributes memorial donations in Sheri’s memory can be made to the Lung Association of Saskatchewan, 1231 – 8th Street East, Saskatoon, Sk S7H 0S5.
