Charlie “Fred” and Kathleen “Kay” Pedersen

Charlie Fred Pedersen was born October 7, 1942 to Fred and Jennie Pedersen. Kathleen Jennie Pedersen was born December 11, 1933 to Irving and Inga Powers. On June 20, 2011 they both slipped away with their family by their sides.
Fred and Kay, as they were known, were predeceased by Kay’s first husband Murray Hope; grandson Paul; their parents; Fred’s brother Percy and Kay’s brothers Ernest, Wilford, Roy, Lawrence, Carl and Steve.
Fred and Kay are survived by their children Norma (Brian) Leland, Linda (Leroy) Jensen, David (Doris) Hope, Judy Johansen, Lee-Ann (Reg) Dickie and Lisa (Darren) Peterson; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; their brothers and sisters Henry Pedersen, Polly (Morris) Featherstone, Judy (Barry) Gross; several brothers and sisters-in-law and numerous nephews and nieces.
Fred and Kay made their home in Weldon, SK and will be best remembered for having family Sunday dinners, family was everything to them. Fred loved to play hockey and Kay loved to play ball. They were also involved in community activities with numerous organizations and any sports or activities their children and grandchildren were involved with. Fred and Kay will be greatly missed by everyone.
Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Weldon Auditorium,Weldon, SK. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray's Funeral Chapel, Marianne Turcotte, Funeral Director.
