LeMoal, Charles (Charlie) Alex
January 30, 1932 – September 4th, 2014
It is with heavy hearts and many fond memories that we say goodbye to our beloved husband and father. Charlie passed away peacefully at home with family by his side, finally losing his battle to cancer.
Left to mourn his passing: his wife of 58 years, Doreen (Dobron) LeMoal; his daughters and sons-in-law, Candice and Brian Goodwin, Beverley and Murray Drew, his son, Robert Charles; his 6 grandchildren, Jason (Kendra) Goodwin, Joshua (Kimberley) Goodwin, Jillianne (Brandon Etcheverry) Goodwin, Zachary (Rachel) Drew, Martine (Tanqueray) Strange, and Nina Drew; his 5 great grandchildren, Olivia and Casey Drew, Oliver, Jaxson and Owen Goodwin; a very special niece, Brenda (Ron) Taschuk; his two sisters, Theresa (Lionel) Neil and Marie (John) Hazelton and their families; and his sister in law, Pearl Paluk and her family.
Charlie was predeceased by his parents, Emile and Simonne (Masserey) LeMoal and his brother-in-law, Johnny Paluk.
Charlie is best remembered for his love of camping, fishing, hunting, baseball, carpentry and time spent with his family and friends. A very special place in his heart was McTavish Lake in northern Saskatchewan, where he spent many happy summers.
At Charlie’s request, there will be no funeral service. His body has been donated to the University of Saskatchewan for research and education.
Please join us in celebration of Charlie’s life. We are hosting a Come-and-Go Luncheon on Sunday, September 28th from 12:00 to 3:00 pm at ParPlace, on Hwy #3West (take Shellbrook exit north of Prince Albert, west 1.5 km)
