Charlene Joyce Welch
1954 – 2013

Charlene was born on June 4, 1954 in Moose Jaw, SK and passed away on July 15, 2013.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother after a hard fought battle with cancer. Charlene worked at Barkwell Agencies upon arriving in Prince Albert. She then purchased P.A. Customs Brokers, and then worked at Prince Albert Real Estate Board until her illness took over. She was an avid sports fan, playing ball with Browne Motors Dusters, slow pitch, volleyball and loved her golfing at Marks 9 where she made many loyal friends.
Charlene is survived by her sons; Brett Leachman and Brady Leachman; their father Bill; her mother Mildred; her 2 brothers Ken and Roy and their families; her 2 sister Marg and Maureen and their families and her dog Skoal. She was predeceased by her brother Bob; her dad Stan; her stepfather Les and her 2 dogs Chum and Moka. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations may be made in Charlene’s name to the SPCA, Box 1832, Prince Albert, SK, S6V 6J9. As per Charlene’s request there will be a Celebration of Life which will be held at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
