It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother at the age of 69. Cecelia was born in Winnipeg, MB to Louine and Thomas Reid. As a young child her family moved to Prince Albert, SK and she resided there until her passing. She married her high school sweetheart Dale Westmacott on June 29, 1968 and they started their family. In the years that followed Cecelia and Dale along with Dale’s sister and brother-in-law started WriteWay Printing and grew it from a small one press shop to a very successful company. Later in life she stepped back from that and started a home daycare business. Over many years she raised numerous children from new born to school age in her loving home. She was so proud to have had the opportunity to touch their lives and the children were all very special to her. During all these years Cecelia and her family found time to go camping almost every weekend. She had a love for the outdoors and looked forward to these times immensely. After the daycare years, Cecelia and Dale took time to travel and spend more time with family, friends, and their grandchildren. Cecelia was a very loving, caring and hard working woman and this will not be forgotten as you can see all of these traits in her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten. Cecelia was predeceased by her father Thomas Reid; mother Louine Reid; step father Bob Fraser; mother-in-law Jean Westmacott; father-in-law Douglas Westmacott brothers-in-law Terry Westmacott and Clifford Beaton. She is survived by the love of her life and husband of 47 years, Dale Westmacott; her son Ron (Tara) Westmacott, and their children Stephen, Shanelle, Shelby and Hayden; her daughter Kim (Kyle) Van Caeseele and their children Jordyn, Reid and Shelbe; her siblings, Bunny Beaton, Gordon (Karen) Reid, Clifford (Susan) Reid, Tom (Marion) Reid, Linda (Doug) Dombrosky; her sister-in-law Bonnie (Bob) Gibb and numerous nieces and nephews. A Private Family Service will be held to celebrate her life. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, #2 – 1124 – 8 Street East, Saskatoon, SK S7H 0S4 or to the Victoria Hospital Foundation, 1200 – 24th Street West, Prince Albert, SK S6V 5T4. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306-922-4729).
