Cathy Sutherland

 

It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Cathy on December 30, 2024, at the age of 63 years.

 

Cathy was born and raised in Prince Albert Saskatchewan, where she herself raised three boys, mostly on her own! She was a fierce mother and loyal friend, who’s sense of humor and wit will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

 

Cathy is survived by her sons, Dustin (Kylene), their children Nick, Alexander, Inara, Xander & Brooklyn; Nathan, his wife Marine & daughter Vinnie; Shea and his beloved cats. Her brothers, Rick and his children Carrie & Scott; Roly and his wife Gale; Tom (his wife) and their son Tommy; John (Jean), their children Cheyanne & Hailey; Chris, his wife Carol, daughter Megann and her son Hudson. Her sisters, Peggy, her children Erin, Kyle and her grandkids Danika, Rylan, Markus, Karter & Rayleigh; Lori, her sons Jordan, Steven, grandkids Evan, Ethan, Elliot, Olivia, Thomas & Lucas; Lynnelle (Kevin Walters), son K.T. & daughter Brooklynn; as well as her other nieces & nephews, Roberta, Jessica, Matthew, Andrew, Mike & their families.

 

Cathy was predeceased by her husband Vincent Pilon; her parents, George & Polly Sutherland; her brother Doug Sutherland; her sisters, Margot Sutherland & Maureen Sevigny; her father-in-law Wilfred Schlosser; her bothers-in-law: Ron Sevigny, Mike Kodiak & Darrell Pilon; her nephews, Colter Mcloud & Anthony Sutherland; and her Niece Deserie Sutherland.

Services will be held at the Army, Navy & Airforce Veterans Unit 222, at 2pm on Saturday, January 11th where Cathy’s family and friends can celebrate her life and honor her memory.
