Carole Lorine Watts (nee Gillies)

December 9, 1942 ~ May 30, 2021 

It is with great sadness that the family of Carole Watts (nee Gillies) announce her passing on May 30, 2021 at Parkland Integrated Health Facility in Shellbrook, SK.

Carole had a passion for horses from an early age which continued into adulthood.  She trained and showed horses for many years.  Her grandkids and great grandkids were her pride and joy.  She loved spending time with them, having family wiener roasts, camping, baking, reading, gardening and babysitting her four-legged grandson, Kingston.

Carole is survived by her children: Sharon, Brent (Robin) and Lana (Gary); grandchildren: Jamie (Jen), Travis (Jaz), Amanda (Brendon), Alicia (Todd), Janelle, Jessica (Tony), Kayla, Tye, Brody, Colton (Montana); great grandchildren: Keaton, Asher, Ella, Cooper, Jackson, Nate, Kaia, Jordynne, Bayli, Bryn, Sadie, Caleb, Brianna, Emma, Ollie, Taylor and Asher; brother Art (Ellen) Gillies; sister Dianne Moberly; numerous nieces, nephew, relatives and friends.

Carole is predeceased by her parents Auther and Grace (nee Coyer) Gillies.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Shellbrook Hospital for their care and compassion.
