Carl Klarenbach
1933 ~ 2024
Carl George Klarenbach was born on May 7, 1933, in St. Walburg, SK, and passed away peacefully at Mont St. Joseph Home, in Prince Albert, SK, on July 25, 2024, at the age of 91 years.
Dad had a very strong work ethic which he learned from his parents growing up on the family homestead in Goodsoil, SK.
He worked midnight shifts at CN Railroad as a young man. He married Bev, our mom, on July 11, 1953 and their family grew to six. In 1966 he began a new career as a guard at the Sask Penn. and retired from there in April of 1989. He then worked as a Commissionaire and as a marshal at Elk Ridge Golf Resort.
Mom and Dad were always together. They square danced in their younger years, were dedicated members of the P.A. Lions Club, P.A. Community Players, Prince Albert Winter Festival volunteers as well as helping with any other projects that needed volunteers. He was a blood donor for most of his life.
His more important roles were husband, Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa and friend. If you were his friend, you were family.
Carl is survived by his children, Doug (Debby), Rick, Cathy (Les), Curtis (Sandra); his grandchildren, Jay (Vero), Graham (Terri-Lynne), Terri (Christian), Nathaniel (Kristina), Abigail (Ryan), Hannah (J.J.), Jesse (Emily), Ashley (Justin), Bray (Kendra), Bret (Jenna); his great-grandchildren, Emma, Jaxon, Shylee, Alexus (Jonas), Cayden, Gray, Nolan, Ellie, Asher, Ava, Jack, Emerson, Harlow, Brooks, and a baby girl on the way; his great-great-grandson, Nixson; his sisters, Kaye Senum, Vivian Cheveldayoff; his brother, Rudy (Verna); his sisters-in-law, Heather Lambertus, Julie Crowe; his brother-in-law, Warren Russell; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
