Arlene “Candace” Roberts (nee Custer) was born on Friday, August 20, 1976, in Flin Flon, Manitoba, and passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015, in Grandmother’s Bay, Saskatchewan, at the age of 39 years. Candace is survived by her loving family, her husband, Sam Roberts, her children, Scott Roberts (Amanda), Joannie Custer, Trina McKenzie, Chasity Roberts and Shaneika Roberts, her grandson, Jayvin Roberts, her parents, Thomas and Joan (nee Highway) Custer, her brothers and sisters, Tommy (Georgina) Custer, Cannon (Gloria) Custer, Tammy (Dwayne) Seib, Rusty (Iona) Custer, Jackson (Olivia) Custer and Donna (Larry) Beatty, her mother-in-law, Sally E. Roberts, her grandparents, Jeannie Custer, Adam Highway and Sally Roberts, her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Violet (Sandy) Ross, Sophie (Thompson) McKenzie, Yvonne (William) Roberts, George Roberts, Harry (Shauna) Roberts, Cindy Roberts (Sandy Ratt) and Clayton (Lori) Roberts, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her father-in-law, Samson Roberts, her grandparents, Marie Highway, Peter Isaac Custer, George Roberts, and Edwin and Hannah Charles, her aunts and uncles, Eliza McKenzie, Delvina Highway, Elizabeth Eninew, Janet Custer in infancy, Thomas Custer, George Eninew and Leslie McKenzie, and her cousins, Dominic McKenzie, Almer Jobb, Glenn Jobb, Wayne Ballantyne, Melinda Eninew, Phillip Nighttraveller, Crystal Nighttraveller, Adam Eninew, Henry Eninew, Frances Ballantyne, Phillip McKenzie and Sally Roberts. Interment took place at St. Philip’s Anglican Church Cemetery in Grandmother’s Bay, SK.
