It is with profound sadness that on the 25th day of August, 2012; we announce the passing of Calvin Wayne Nighttraveller with his family by his side. Calvin was born on October 12, 1960 in Prince Albert, SK, he was 51 years old and from Muskoday First Nation. Calvin is forever loved and remembered by his mother: Matilda Demerais; his stepfather: Howard Demerais; his brothers: Richard (Naomi) Nighttraveller, Alvin (Arlene) Nighttraveller and Jim Nighttraveller; his sisters: Violet (James) Nighttraveller and Diane (Ken) Nighttraveller; his grandmother: Nancy Crain; and his children: Cheryl, Aimee, Kelly, Calvin Jr., Nydon, Karissa and Carter. Calvin was a teacher who taught at various schools in Saskatchewan, he loved the northern communities and made friends everywhere. He was very culturally orientated. Calvin resided with his 90 year old grandmother Nancy Crain whom he cherished and put first in his life.We will all miss Calvin’s laughter, generosity and especially his sense of humor. A Wake will commence on Sunday, August 26th at the Muskoday First Nation Band Hall. A Funeral Service for Calvin will be held on August 28th, 2012 at Muskoday’s Band Hall, at 2:00 PM.
