Byron Lee Genereaux was born March 12, 1964, in Shellbrook, SK, to parents Gordon and Rosalie Genereaux. He passed away on October 11, 2025, in Ahtahkakoop First Nation, SK.

Byron is lovingly remembered by his wife Connie; children Miranda (Raine), Brooklyn (Chad), McKayla (Tristen), Christie, Michelle, Kerry, and Jaycee; grandchildren Tia, Brayleen, Bowen, Brixton, Bria, and Levi; siblings Peter, Marvin (Joanie), Gail (Stanley), Brian, Merle, Lane (Melanie), and Tracey (James); sister-in-law Farrah.

He was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Rosalie; paternal grandparents John and Dorothy; maternal grandparents Pete and Stella; and his siblings Dorothy, Daryl, and Dean.

Wake Services will commence on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 2:00PM. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, with both services taking place at the Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall. Byron will be laid to rest in the St. Mark’s Anglican Cemetery.
