Bryan Kenneth Lee, peacefully left this earth and went home to his Creator on January 2, 2026, following a brief illness. Bryan was born June 9, 1945, in Paddockwood, SK, and spent the next 80 years living a vibrant life that has woven itself into the hearts and minds of many beloved family, friends and communities.
Bryan spent the first part of his career as a Journeyman Lineman, working on legacy projects spanning across Canada and the USA. He was highly skilled and courageous, willing to take on the harshest and most dangerous conditions to restore power during outages. Following retirement after a 30-year career, he returned home to northern Saskatchewan. As a proud Metis citizen, Bryan took a special interest in politics, traditional lifestyles and shared his vision of keeping lands healthy for future generations. One of Bryan’s proudest accomplishments was leading the change of having Fish Lake, a Metis Settlement, declared a Provincial Heritage site. It was here that Bryan and his wife, Tina, hosted numerous learning and ceremonial events for organizations and individuals. As an avid nature lover, Bryan spent countless hours hiking and building trails in remote settings. He also enjoyed skiing, snowshoeing, travelling, quadding and sledding. In his younger years, Bryan was fearless on black diamond slopes and deep-water scuba diving. During this time Bryan was also adventuring across North America on his Harley Davidson motorcycle, putting on thousands of miles each year.
Bryan is survived by his loving wife, Tina Lee (nee Settee); his son, Keith (Melodi) Lee; daughter, Deanne (Alick) McMillan; step-children, Reanne (Dylan Gruchy) Settee, Ryan (Dayna) Ehman and Terra Ehman; his grandsons, Carson, Connor, Jackson, James and Teddy; his granddaughters, Avaline and Daisy; his brother, Trygve (Kathy) Lee; his first wife Jackie Lee (whom he affectionately called “Sam” due to her being a force to be reckoned with and a heart of gold); and his special pup, Pip. He also leaves to mourn his passing, a vast network of extended family and countless friends who were all cherished and helped him live a life of deep meaning and heartfelt connection.
Bryan was predeceased by his parents, Percy and Florence (nee Seymour) Lee; his siblings, Phillip, Marvin, Carol, Wanda, and his twin sister Sharon. He also leaves to mourn a vast network of extended family and countless friends who were all cherished and helped him live a life of deep meaning and heartfelt connection.
