Bruce Heffernan
1940 ~ 2024
It is with love that we mark the passing of Bruce Alexander Heffernan of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
Bruce was born January 25, 1940, and passed away at Rose Garden Hospice on January 24, 2024, one day before his 84th birthday.
Bruce will be missed by his children, grandchildren, numerous relatives and friends.
“Dad will also be deeply missed by extended family who are those that were closest with Dad, and extremely near and dear to his heart.”
“Maxine Holden, who Dad met at his daughter’s (Kyla) wedding is perhaps the greatest love of Dad’s life. Through thick and thin Maxine has remained someone that I know Dad loved dearly.”
“Rose and Gord Stiglitz are two people who were so near and dear to Dad that they were and are still more than friends. They are family that Dad chose because of the mutual love for one another.”
“It is with great love and respect for Maxine, Rose and Gord that I say Thank You. I am glad for Dad that he had you so close, and that you were far more than friends, you are family.”
As per Bruce’s request, there will be no service at this time. Bruce did not want the “hoopla” as he put it. At a later date, a Celebration of Life will be held.
For now, it is asked that when you remember Bruce that you remember him with love. Love is an eternal light with the ability to brighten a sad time.
