Bronie Frank Grabowski passed away suddenly on Saturday August 4th at the age of 68. Bronie is survived by his children: son, Chadney ( Leanne) Grabowski of Battlefords District; daughter, Marnie Hattum of Warman SK.; grandchildren, Bryce and Austin Grabowski, Becki, Dusty, and Amy Hattum; brother, Gerald (Ghislaine) Grabowski of Hafford SK.; sister, Sally (Norman) Woytowich of Saskatoon SK.; half-brother, Mike (Stella) Sydoruk of Hafford, SK.; half-sister, Anne Zaiachkowski of Saskatoon SK.; also many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends. Bronie joins in eternal life with his parents Frank and Antonia Grabowski; infant brother, Eugene Grabowski; half-sister, Helen; and brother-in-law, Alex Zaiachkowski. Bronie was well known to be a “man that could fix anything, build anything, and do anything he put his mind to!” Dad was never a materialistic man! He didn’t care if something had a bump, scratch or dent, as long as it worked, it was good enough for him. He was a very giving man and would give to anyone, if he could. Dad was always helping people, all he ever wanted was a smile and a thank you and that was payment enough. Dad enjoyed many simple pleasures in life, sharing numerous cups of coffee with his friends, visiting and hearing everyones life stories. Dad showed compassion to all living animals, whether it was feeding the birds in winter, taking care of his sheep or even feeding his wild cats and kittens on the farm. He was always the life of the party, full of jokes and laughter. He could bring a room full of people to tears of laughter at the drop of a hat. He had a twinkle in his eye and a smile that could soften the hardest of hearts. He will be greatly missed by his children, his family, and his many numerous friends! Dad firmly believed “Family is what you DO not who you are!” A celebration of dad’s life will be held on Friday August 31st 2012 at 1:00 PM at St. Solange Roman Catholic Church, 110 2nd Ave. E., Hafford SK.
