Brian Taylor

Brian James Taylor was born on October 24, 1940, in Prince Albert, SK, and passed away on August 14, 2026, at the Victoria Hospital, in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 85 years with his family by his side.

Brian was born in Prince Albert on October 24, 1940, the last in a family of three boys born to Robert & Dorothy Taylor. Losing his father at a young age, Brain was surrounded by the love and support of a large extended family. He attended Connaught and Riverside School.

On August 8, 1970, Brian married the love of his life Denise, celebrating 56 years together.

Brain began his career at P.A Foundry, where he eventually had the opportunity with 4 partners to become owners, transitioning into AIM Supply where he worked until his retirement. After retiring Brian spent many winters travelling to the Dominican, Arizona and many trips to Hawaii.

Brian had a love for sports, spending many years playing slo-pitch and coaching his daughter’s sports. He enjoyed watching the Blue Jays, Saskatchewan Roughriders and most of all his hometown hockey team the raiders to which he was a 56-year season ticket holder.

Brian was also a lifetime member of the Prince Albert Elks Lodge #58, spending countless hours fundraising, volunteering and attending conferences. Brian had a unique sense of humour and a quick with but under a tough exterior was a kind & generous man.

Brian was predeceased by his parents, Robert & Dorothy Taylor; his brothers, Deryk & Bob Taylor; his brother-in-law, Don White; his sisters-in-law, Jean Taylor, Roberta White, Allison Koester.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Denise Taylor; his daughters, Kerri (Greg) Dupuis, Kimberly (John) Carley; his grandchildren, Braedon, Reid (Jadriel) Smith, Sydney Dupuis; his great-granddaughter, Parker Smith, his sister-in-law, Christine Taylor; his brothers-in-law, Bill Koester, David (Trudy) Koester, as well as many numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In Lieu of tributes, donations in memory of Brian may be made to the Elks and Royal Purple fund for children or a charity of your choice.

The Celebration of life for Brian will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Rev. Nora Vedress officiating.
