Mrs. Bodil Anna Benson of Canwood, Sask passed away peacefully on February 14, 2015 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the age of 83 years. Bodil will be lovingly remembered and forever cherished by: Her husband: Arthur of 63 years. Her children: Kenneth Benson (Sandra Thall), Barbara Person, Stuart Benson (Lisa Quessy).  Grandchildren: Melanie (Gerald) Duret, Tabetha (Mike Bodnarchuk), Afton (Kyle) Danberg, Jordan (Kendall Gunderson), Brent (Brandy) Benson, Melissa Benson, Bradley (Lorna) Benson, Nicholas Quessy.  Great grandchildren: Amanda, Keegan and Morgan Duret, Ethan, Zander and Londyn Bodnarchuk, Tucker and Dawson Danberg, Blake, Brianne and Blare Benson, Trae, Darion and Syrhea Daniels, Kaden, Brayzn and Kloe Benson.  Her brothers: Tom and Helen Clausen and family of BC, Ove and Joanne Clausen and family.  Her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Alice Benson, Esther Petersen, Adolph and Esther Benson. She was predeceased by: Her parents: Ejner and Andrea Clausen.  Her in-laws: Herman and Anna Benson.  Her infant granddaughter: Lindi Benson. Her son-in-law: Murray Person. Numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. A Funeral service celebrating her life was held on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.from the Zion Lutheran Church in Canwood, with Pastor Trent Felstrom officiating. Interment followed the luncheon in Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Memorial donation in Bodil’s memory may be directed to the Canwood Skating Rink or to the Royal Canadian Legion in Canwood.
