It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Elva Bliss; she passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the age of 89. Elva was born in Kindersley, SK and raised on a farm in Glidden, SK with her mother, father and much loved older brother Don. She met the love of her life Van Bliss when she was 16 years old, and they married 3 years later on June 20, 1941. They were married during the war years; Elva spent her life raising their daughters, working side by side with Van at their fishing camp “Van’s Camp” at Lac La Ronge, SK.
