“Blanche” Rose Marchand
May 28, 1938 – June 17, 2013

Blanche passed away on June 17, 2013. Blanche was born on May 28, 1938 in Marcelin, SK She leaves behind her companion of 51 years Bill Mindiuk; her six children Larry (Shelly) Marchand, Jackie (Bill) Litwin, Anita (Shawn) Roberts, Marvin (Roxanne) Marchand, Anthony Marchand and Sherry (Russell) Roberts; her fourteen grandchildren; her seven great grandchildren; her two sisters Theresa Grimard and Lillian Bisson; her four brothers Joe (Gloria) Marchand, Sam Marchand, Franklin (Ann) Marchand and Roy Marchand and her three godchildren Delphine Poole, Georgie Marchand and Sherry Little. Blanche is gone to be with her family in heaven; her parents Alfred and Alexandra Marchand; her sister Marie Caron; her brothers Clarence, Beverly and Alphonse; her son-in-law Jeff Lucier and her two special friends Reva Roberts and Dorothy Gilchuk. The family would like to thank Dr. Sukkhu and the staff on the 6th Floor at the Victoria Hospital for the great care they gave our beloved “Blanche”. Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2013 with Sister Renée Buliard officiating. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2013 with Celebrant Reverend Father Tuan Doan. Both services will be held at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 589 – 9th Street East, Prince Albert, SK. Interment will be held at Prince Albert, Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Christus. In lieu of other tributes Memorial Donations can be made to the Victoria Hospital, 6th Floor, 1200 – 24th Street West, Prince Albert, SK S6V 5T4.
