It is with profound sorrow and inconsolable grief we honour our Blair Thomas Fiddler. A Beautiful Spirit who was called home on August 10th, 2026, at the age of 40.

Blair was born on July 7, 1986, in Prince Albert, SK. All 5 pounds of him was welcomed into the world by parents, Craig Fiddler and Angela Isbister.

Blair was a gentle, kind, loving soul. He also possessed a good sense of humour. From an early age he was taught impeccable manners and generosity. He greeted everyone with big, warm hugs and/or loud greetings. Blair made a person feel they were so important and it didn’t matter what position you were in life or even if he was maligned in any way. He usually ended the conversation by saying “God Bless and Take Care” and “Love You”.

His favourite time of the year was Christmas. Blair was the best at figuring out what should plug into what to make the tree light up. All the decorations had to be perfectly placed. However, the best part of Christmas that he treasured was getting together with family and enjoying a good meal.

Growing up, Blair, his little sister Alicia, and cousin Devon were inseparable. They loved going to Gramma Joyce’s where she would rent movies, pop popcorn and have the occasional candlelight suppers. Breakfast was totally of their choosing to start the day of with fun and laughter.

One of the brightest lights in Uncle Blair’s life was being able to spend time with his beloved niece, Aurora and nephew, Atlas. It was loud and boisterous when they started “horsing around”. Also, there were quiet times playing kids’ card games with Aurora which somehow, she always won. Blair enjoyed beating his Gramma in a game of Scrabble and his uncles in a game of dice (craps). He also loved cheering on the Sask Rough Riders and he and his dad’s favourite, the Montreal Canadiens.

Blair was blessed with Angels, being Ruth and Marcel who appeared in his time of need and in the last few weeks of his life. They provided him with his own pad, unconditional love, support, care and the warmest hospitality ever. He was very happy and content.

God Bless You Blair and take care until we meet again. Love you with all our hearts and you will be forever missed.

Blair will be loving remembered by his mother, Angela Isbister; grandmother, Joyce Fiddler; kokum, Dorothy Isbister; moshum, James Isbister Sr.; sister, Alicia Light (Braden); niece, Aurora; nephew, Atlas; special cousin, Devon Fiddler; half-sisters, Dayna Bear and Rayann Bear; as well, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Blair was predeceased by his father, Craig Fiddler, uncles, aunt and great-grandparents.

A Prayer Service will be held on at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Muskoday Band Hall, Muskoday First Nation.

A Private Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
