Ernest William (Bill) Goodrick passed away peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2015 at Concordia hospital in Winnipeg, MB at 84 years young. Bill enjoyed a lengthy career with the Bank of Montreal, moving his family every few years throughout Saskatchewan and Manitoba before finally settling in Winnipeg. Bill loved to camp and especially enjoyed his time at the cottage at the lake. He enjoyed curling, boating and he loved the news, reading the paper from cover to cover.  Bill is survived by his son Frank (Taylor) Goodrick, Toronto, ON; daughters Debbie (John Lehner), Prince Albert, SK, Marsha Frohwerk, Winnipeg, MB, Jodi Goodrick (Piet Langstraat) Red Deer, AB, his sister Carroll Brown, Warren, MB, sister-in-law Maureen Goodrick, Brisbane, AU, his grandchildren David, Chad & Robyn Lehner, Anastasia Goodrick, Michelle Cleland and Donnie Frohwerk and great grandchildren Paige and Madisyn Lehner, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.Bill was predeceased by his wife Lin (2008), his son Tim (2009), his daughter Michelle (2003), his brother Jim (2014) and his son-in-law Don Frohwerk (2009).  At Bill’s request there will not be a formal service. The family will have a private celebration of Bill’s life at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Amant Centre, 440 River Road, Winnipeg, MB or CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
